Do you perform research and what areas do you cover?
Imagination Technologies is not involved in providing research information in any way. Our sole focus is providing software solutions to the Pre-Employment Screening and Background Research Industries. We prefer to provide you with the tools to help improve your research operations and access to research sources.

How much does your software cost?
There are several factors that come into play in determining the price of FRS for your unique situation. It is based upon the number of users in your office who will be using the software on a daily basis and upon the add-on products which you wish to include in your system configuration. Are there any "Transaction" or "Click" charges involved with using your software?
No. Once you purchase FRS, the only recurring charge is for annual maintenance. The maintenance agreement provides you with phone support, quarterly upgrades to the software, and access to "FRS Web-Tech", our on-line support center here at our web site. The maintenance agreement is required for the first three years and is available after that, but is optional. You may process an unlimited number of subjects or applicants within your software for no additional charge.

Is Support provided with your Software?
Yes. Our highly trained technical support team is available to assist you as you utilize FRS in your operations. Support is available Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. We also provide support by email and through the "FRS Web-Tech", our on-line support center here at our web site.

How much are system upgrades?
The Flexible Research System is continually updated based upon the enhancement requests of it's users. We provide four system upgrades per year. Each client who maintains an annual support agreement is provided these system upgrades for no additional charge.

Is all of my confidential information such as client lists, researcher lists, applicant information, and billing information kept in your office?
No. All of the sensitive information pertaining to your business is stored at your location. Imagination Technologies does not house your data. The FRS software product and your data is maintained on your local area network, and the FRS Web Application and your web data is stored at your web site on the web host of your choice.

How much is the research provided by the members of the "FRS Research Network"?
The prices for research within the "Network" vary depending on the provider and the area to be researched. Those prices are solely between you and those research providers. Imagination Technologies is not involved in the determination of the prices charged for research services. Please feel free to contact any of the members of the FRS Research Network to inquire about their prices. Many provide better rates to FRS users due to the data entry savings and electronic interface.

All licensed users of the Flexible Research System have the right to be listed on the FRS Research Network page here at our web site. This is just another of the many benefits available to the companies who make the investment in purchasing FRS or FRS Lite.

Do I have to order my research from the "FRS Research Network"?
No. FRS gives you the flexibility to use any research sources that you wish. The benefit of using the companies within the "Network" is that the duplication of data entry is eliminated because research requests and results are transmitted electronically via FRS Connect.

Do I depend on your company to perform my billing?
No. You have full control over the billing process at your office. Like the name Flexible Research System suggests, FRS has very "flexible" billing features to allow you to define the prices for your services, whether "by item" or with "package" pricing. The FRS billing modules allow fully customizable prices for each of your clients. Options are also provided to allow you to charge for all of the additional costs associated with your research. You have the option of billing daily, weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, etc. to meet each of your client's specific billing needs. The billing process is very simple and is always completely under your control.

What options are available for processing Credit and Social Trace Reports?
FRS has Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) modules available for interfacing with Trans Union, Experian, and Equifax. Once you establish an account with one or more of these credit bureaus, you can interface electronically with them through FRS to submit requests for each of the designated subjects in your system and receive the credit and social trace reports back instantaneously, ready to report to your clients. By establishing accounts with two or all three of these credit bureaus, you can provide your clients with the option of choosing which bureau's reports they wish to receive from you.

Is FRS a "Web-Based" Application?
No. FRS is a client-based software package which runs in your office on a PC or local area network, fully under your control. We do provide web-based applications for your clients and vendors which interface directly with FRS in your office. These web applications run at your web site, still totally controlled by you.

The Internet is a "Lawless" place and we provide our clients with the recommendations and assistance to fully secure their web site from the hackers and other "Cyber Predators" that are so abundant these days. Unlike other solutions for this industry, this "lawlessness" has convinced us not to stray from our original system design. The FRS software runs in the controlled environment of our client's offices. We have seen the value and demand of the Internet and have stepped up to the plate with very sophisticated web applications which have been well received by our clients. With FRS and its Internet components, the hundreds of potential problems that can occur on the Internet will not shut down the operations of our clients. Any number of problems can shut down a fully web-based solution for days. However, our clients will still have access to their FRS software and will still have printing, faxing, modem-to-modem, and email communications to fall back on.
